I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
