The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.
This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.
That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.
The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each character has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
- The strong character and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- But, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, The fighter swore a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
- The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of Casimir.
Upcoming Developments
Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.
Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
